Our Story
Born from humble beginnings, we started Rosie’s Boutique Condiments over 20 years ago on our family farm in western New South Wales in the middle of a harsh drought - with not much more than a pantry of produce and a deep love of cooking.
Our founder (Rosie) grew up in the kitchen beside her own mum, learning the skill of turning simple ingredients into flavour-filled meals that brought people together rurally. That early love for flavour and family became the heart of everything we do.
During the millennium drought, with the farm doing it tough, we looked for ways to bring in a little extra income. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work in the kitchen - testing recipes, bottling dressings and hand-labelling jars late into the night. We started with our now-signature Honey Mustard Dressing, selling it at local markets and sharing it with friends and neighbours. Before long, word spread.
We worked out of the farm kitchen (and sometimes the bedrooms!) with just one staff member and later moved into a demountable on the property. After five years, our business was relocated to a small commercial kitchen in Warren, where we still make our products today - by hand, in small batches with the same care we always have.
We’re proud to still be a family-run business with everyone - from Mum and Dad to all four daughters pitching in over the years. Our products are stocked in Harris Farm Markets and independent stockists across New South Wales and Queensland. You can also shop online, and we still pinch ourselves that our condiments are sent to kitchens all over Australia.
From our original dressing to favourites like Beetroot Relish and Chilli & Capsicum Jam, everything we make is gluten free, dairy free, preservative free, and made with local ingredients whenever we can.
